August 3: Fall Registration Opens

August 17: First Semester Tuition Due or Installment Plan initiated (One week prior to start of Semester)

August 17-21: SSBYD Company Audition Camp (Recommended but not required)

August 21: SSBYD Audition 

August 22: Rudolph and Clara Audition 

August 24: Fall Semester Classes Begin (August 24—December 20: Semester 1)

August 28: SSBYD Photoshoot at the studio

August 29: SSBYD Parent and Dancer Meeting at the studio

September 1: Tuition Autopay

September 7: Labor Day Holiday

October 1: Tuition Autopay

October 8-11: SSBYD Guest Choreographer Rehearsals

October 30-31: State Street Ballet’s Dracula, a dark shadow with the Kronos Quartet at The Granada Theater 

October 22-24: Fall SSBA Photoshoot *times TBA

November 2: Tuition Autopay

November 11: Veteran’s Day Holiday (Wednesday)

November 23-28: Thanksgiving Week Break (No school classes. Some Open Teen/Adult classes will be held)

December 1: Tuition Autopay

December 2: Spring Registration Opens

December 5-6: Rudolph at Lobero – 6:30pm Sat & 2pm Sun (Dress Rehearsals 12/4 & 12/5)

December 18-20: Nutcracker (Spacing/Dress Rehearsals 12/16, 12/17, 12/18) *Please note that the dress rehearsal on 12/18 will begin in the afternoon at 1pm, call time will be 12-12:30pm.

December 21-January 10th: Winter Break (Classes resume Monday, Jan 11, 2027)

December 31: Spring Semester Tuition Due or Installment Plan initiated. Notification of Spring class changes due by this date.

January 11: Spring Classes Begin (January 11-May 16: Semester 2)

January 18: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday (Monday)

January 31: Summer Camps for 2027 Announced! 

February 1: Tuition Autopay

Month of February: TBA Evaluation, specific dates will be announced

February 12th & 13th: NO Classes or Rehearsals

February 15: Presidents’ Day Holiday – Normal Classes Will be Held 

March 1: Tuition Autopay

March 4: SSBYD Adjudication *time is TBD

March 6-7: State Street Ballet’s The Little Mermaid at the Granada Theatre

March 14: State Street Ballet Young Dancers Celebration of Dance at Lobero

March 23-28: Spirit Week!

March 30-April 11: Spring Break (No school classes. Some Open Adult classes will be held.)

April 1: Summer Early Registration Discount Deadline

April 7-10: SSBYD attends TBA Festival in Reno

April 24: SSBYD Emerging Concert

May 1-3: Spring Photoshoot at the studio *times TBA

May 15-16: Tina the Ballerina at the Lobero (Performances 6pm on 5/15 and 2pm on 5/16, Dress Rehearsals 5/14 & 5/15)

May 22-23: State Street Ballet’s Brahms & Balanchine at the Granada Theatre with the Santa Barbara Symphony
